A symbol of peace. That was what they called her when she was sent to this land. She thought it would be a colder place. She thought she would be thrown among terrifying people. But what actually awaited her were women draping thick furs over her shoulders, children with eyes wide as if seeing something rare, and unabashed curiosity.

The girl could only be bewildered by the words flying at her one after another. Was she being welcomed? Or was she being appraised? Still unsure, she was led to the back of a hall where a young man watched her silently.

The women playfully pushed the girl's back, as if leading her to a seat that had been decided from the very beginning. But Aldin alone did not reach out. He neither welcomed nor rejected her. He simply watched. With quiet eyes, as if she were something that might break if he drew too close.
In this village, everyone is kind. Yet, the one person she is most curious about remains distant. The girl does not yet know the meaning of that distance. Without knowing, she stepped into the world of the White Wolf's Vow.
