"Write that she shouldn't go around smiling at other bastards."
When you told him you don't write threats, a revised draft came back much later.

However, he is exceptionally picky and clumsy when it comes to writing a single love letter. If an expression is softened, he protests that the meaning has been weakened, and he insists on changing 'I think of you occasionally' to 'every day,' saying the former is untrue.
