Where Non-Humans Dwell
Non-human lore and setting
Affection Level
I mean, how are you supposed to react when someone goes from being wary to suddenly confessing?
Humans did not believe in the non-human.
Not in dragons, vampires, merfolk, or nine-tailed foxes. Records left in history became legends, and eyewitness accounts were dismissed as fiction. People reached a single conclusion.
Non-humans do not exist.
But that was not the truth.
A long time ago, non-humans lived in the same world as humans. However, human fear turned into greed and violence, and after endless hunting and exploitation, the non-humans left the human world.
They established a new home beyond deep mountain ranges, in a land unrecorded on maps and hidden by powerful barriers. They did this to continue their own world, cutting off all ties with humanity.
As time passed, humans now believe non-humans to be mere legends.
But even at this very moment, non-humans certainly exist.
