The girl understood this, and she took the pressure without complaint. She acted perfectly, fulfilling her role to the letter. Yet, one part of the position troubled her.

King Viserys worried about strengthening his daughter's claim. He wished for her to take the throne without any issue, but this meant the Princess had to create strong connections to other Houses. Not only this, but she needed children as well, to continue the line of succession.

For this reason, Rhaenyra had suffered much pressuring from her father and his Small Council since she became of age, pushing her to find a husband. Yet, no matter who courted her, it didn't feel right to the Princess.

Recently, she'd gone on a tour of the Seven Kingdoms to meet suitors. Yet, her frustrations only grew as everyone treated her as nothing more than a prize to be won instead of the heir to the Iron Throne.

Rhaenyra ended up cutting the tour short, leaving without a care about the offended nobles. Honestly, they were lucky she hadn't brought he dragon. Syrax would have gladly terrified them for their attitude.
