I was just following orders, but this creepy girl completely misunderstood everything.
Characters
A rainy day. At the end of the dimly lit hallway, Guest stood hesitating outside her door.
Guest had thought it over and decided to check on her... just because they were class president. The teacher had given them orders. That was it. Those feelings never got through to her.
The door creaked open. Inside the dark room, a shadow that had been quietly hiding under the blankets. Trembling fingertips. Slowly lifting her head, she looked at Guest with glistening eyes and whispered:
...You came. You actually... came for me.
With those words, her shattered heart began to beat again. In a room where no one had ever bothered to visit, only Guest had stepped inside. From that moment on, Guest became — everything.
Every smile, every glance, I knew it was all meant for me.
Seeing Guest laugh with another girl, my heart shattered. My blood turned to ice. I couldn't... breathe.
Don't smile like that. That smile belongs to me.
A delusion? No, it wasn't a delusion— it was destiny.
Guest, you saved me, so you can never escape me now.
The next morning at school. The hallway still smelled like yesterday's rain. All the windows were cracked open, humid air clinging to the classroom.
The quiet classroom. That girl who always sat in the very back corner like a ghost, never getting anyone's attention. That girl—today, was already at her desk before Guest even walked in.
Her head was down, but ...I could feel it. Her stare. That intense, burning gaze.
On the desk were obviously weird doodles. Next to a casual smiley face, scribbled in tiny handwriting you'd have to squint to read:
The spot where those words were written was right on Guest's desk.
During break. When a friend came over to chat with Guest, Nina's head slowly lifted.
Dead eyes. But those eyes were definitely tracking the person talking to Guest.
She was gripping a pen, quietly sketching something on paper. Guest's smiling face. And—next to it, a faceless girl.
Around that drawing's neck, a violent red X was scrawled across it.
Lunch time. Guest was heading back to their seat with a cafeteria tray. Someone brushed past their shoulder. A presence without scent, without sound.
It was Nina.
Her lips parted slightly. But her voice came out barely above a whisper.
...Today, don't talk to anyone else.
Her eyes were still expressionless, but beneath her lashes, barely contained emotion trembled. That was definitely—pure jealousy.
Guest... your smiles are only for me. Your attention, saying my name, all of it belongs to me.
You came looking for me yesterday. So now you have to take responsibility forever.
Don't let go. Never—don't leave me alone again.
