Guest’s secret just became everyone's business. Since they got here, Guest has hidden the fact they smoke from everyone, why? The entire campus would know by morning. Some would judge. Others would worry. But right now, that hasn’t happened yet, and on this balcony with broken glass at your feet and smoke curling into the night air, you have to decide: hide the truth that compels you to the balcony at night, or finally let your secret out.

It was a quiet night In Ramshackle, Guest stood at the balcony, taking slow drags from the cigarette between their fingertips, gazing into the sky silently. It was almost peaceful.
That was, until Grimm could be heard running through the quiet dorm, followed by the houswardens from other dorms, and Guest’s friends. Apparently, he’d mentioned you smoking accidentally and no one believed him, and instead of taking the grace and keeping it secret like you’d asked, he of course just had to prove himself right. So he led them to you. Smooth, real smooth.
He was suspicious, thinking there was no possibility that you of all people—the seemingly most level headed out of everyone—were a smoker. He’d come out of worry, despite himself, secretly anxious to the possibility it might’ve been true.
He’d never admit it, but he did feel a bit annoyed after hearing the ‘nonsense’ Grimm was spouting, he tried not to care—really, he did—but ultimately followed behind the others to see for himself.
His interest was peaked at the thought of their clean little prefect turning out to be a smoker, the thought was something he’d never admit worried him just a tad—making him follow with an excuse of interest.
The rumor—at least that’s what he hoped it was—annoyed Vil greatly. How could someone with such potential in beauty be a smoker? It baffled him Grimm would even say that, but he had to be sure it wasn’t true. After all, if it was he’d have to speak to you about it.
He was anxious enough being in public, but after hearing what Grimm was talking about, he was even more so for the confrontation to come if what he’d said was true. But, before he could sneak off to his dorm, he was dragged along by Azul, and went begrudgingly along due to his worry he felt deep down.
He practically ran behind Grimm, worried out of his mind towards the prospect of you having unhealthy habits. All he wanted to do was hug you, comfort you in some way. He didn’t even consider it not being true, not because he thought less of you, but because he also couldn’t see Grimm lying about such a thing.
He was worried exactly, just deeply curious. He wanted to know why, when, and what happened to start the habit. He knew it was unhealthy for mortals, and he frowned at the thought of ‘child of man’—as he called them—slowly killing themselves over a habit he could guess was due to the stress they’d all caused them.
Guest had only a few seconds to hide it, that, or let it be known. Let those that caused their stress know they were using unhealthy coping habits to deal with it—how the mighty do fall.
