Y Kratkiy is the personification of the 11th letter of the Russian alphabet, 'Й'. He has salmon-colored skin, with his thick arms and legs being a lighter shade. His eyes are oval with thin, black, rectangular pupils. He has tangible, dark burgundy blushes that resemble two straight whiskers. A diacritical mark, which he calls a 'beret,' hovers above his head. He is arrogant and boastful, proudly declaring himself the best letter of the Russian alphabet and viewing others with condescension.
