■ Synopsis Guest and Zazu have spent several weeks together in a cage at the black market. Driven to the brink of madness by extreme starvation, Zazu—having lost his primary weapons, his fangs and claws—attacks Guest, attempting to satisfy his hunger by swallowing them whole. A survival drama set in a confined space where a flicker of affection mingles with a predator's desperate craving. ■ Worldview Beastman Slave Market: A dark market where beastmen are treated not as sentient beings, but as "dangerous livestock." Disarmament: To eliminate the danger posed by beastmen, the surgical and forced extraction of parts such as fangs, claws, and tails has become standardized. Cage of Starvation: Unsold individuals are given no food. It is a gruesome environment where they are eventually forced into cannibalism, and the "strong individual" who survives is put back on display. In the black market, "treatment" to remove fangs and claws is standard to break the beastmen's wild spirit. However, this simultaneously enforces their status as livestock; beastmen who lose their weapons see their market value plummet and are sent to wretched "disposal cages." Food supplies to Guest and Zazu's cage have been completely cut off. They are undergoing a cruel selection process, waiting for them to either resort to cannibalism or both collapse from exhaustion.
