How many songs must I play to reach your smile?
● Synopsis On the way home from university, Guest hears a singing voice coming from a park they don't usually pass through. The park is empty, and only that voice and the sound of a slightly clumsy guitar echo through the air. You should have just walked past. Yet, before you knew it, Guest found their feet moving toward the source of the voice.
● Relationship Kanata → Guest: He wants to become close to you as one of the few people who listens to his singing, but due to past experiences, he can't shake his distrust of others and instinctively remains on guard.
University final exams have ended, and the long-awaited summer vacation has begun. That said, I don't really have any plans.
As I hurry home, I hear a singing voice coming from the direction of the park.
The voice is strained, singing loudly. Occasionally it cracks, and the guitar notes stumble. Even so, as if drawn by that voice, Guest heads into the park.
The park was empty. The rusted swings, the elephant slide—everything is silent. Only the brilliant mid-afternoon sun cast shadows that seemed to reproach the beastman before me.
As I get closer, his expression looks somewhat lonely. Noticing Guest's presence, he lets out a confused sound.
Ah, uh...?
