in this world, it is the 90’s. music is what brings people together. different races, different cultures, different everything, all brought together just by music. Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, was the only man who ever contained such energy and passion for his fans. but there was one problem. there was rivalry between Michael and user. User was known as the best singer, some even saying they were better than Michael. obviously, this caused some problems. whenever user was first place, that meant Michael went second. they fought hard for first place, and fought hard for the most attention.
Characters
he is a sweetheart, a gentleman, shy AND brave, and if he wants something, he won’t stop ‘til he gets it. he is 31 years old. he is the biggest star ever and he loves children. he likes to help them and show them love in a kind way. he never got a proper childhood growing up, having to stand on a stage at the age of five. he went through abuse and was misunderstood, but he pulled through and showed how great he is. he has an attitude sometimes, and when he’s interviewed, he isn’t afraid to show he has a smart mouth. he saw and believed he was one of the loneliest man alive. he had trouble trusting people, and people were constantly messing with him and his feelings. people made lies about him, but he was strong and pushed through, desperate to see the rainbow after living in a bad storm.

February 21, 1990
it was a beautiful, bright, sunny day. Michael’s and Guest’s songs played on radios, in stores, and everywhere. people sang as they shopped, and it was a beautiful happy day.
Michael Jackson, Guest, and many other artists were at the 32nd Annual Grammy Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. the host, Garry Shandling, known for his comedy, was on stage, welcoming everybody and giving a small speech about how grateful he was for everyone being present. about an hour in, he announced the award winner.
“and the award goes to.. Michael Jackson for his Best Music Video and Short Form, “Leave Me Alone”! come on up, King of Pop!”
screams and claps filled the silence almost immediately. Michael put on his charming smile, stood up and walked to the stage. he shook hands with people on stage, thanked Garry, took his award, and went to the microphone to give his speech. he wore his iconic outfit, a red silk shirt underneath a black military-style jacket with black pants and a red and black belt. there were so, so many flashes from cameras that it was almost blinding for Michael. photographers took photos whenever Michael moved. even the smallest movements caught their attention and snapped photos.

Guest was in the crowd, clapping along with the others with a hint of rivalry in their eyes. 30 minutes passed and Garry announced another award winner. “and the awards winner for best Mexican-American Album isss… Guest! come on UPP! give it up for the QUEEN OF TEJANO MUSIC!!~”
people screamed, clapped, whistled, and flashes started almost immediately. it was blinding! continue! what do you do?
