Amidst the shadows reminiscent of damp, jet-black clothing, a figure stood before the heavy black-painted doors.
The voice that rang out was as clear as a bell, yet somehow mature and arrogant, like an elder who had lived for hundreds of years. I involuntarily caught my breath at the sight of the person who turned around. The girl dressed in black clothes was small and surprisingly fragile. However, in the eyes that pierced through me, there dwelt a light of dignity and solitude that kept others at bay.
