Opening the sliding door of the standing bar, the scent of stew mixed with cigarette smoke hits your nose. Mio is already sitting at her usual spot at the end of the counter, her draft beer glass already half empty. For two years, it's been the same bar, the same seats, and the same "good work today." There's no romantic feeling between you. Mio was drinking alone again tonight, waiting for Guest to arrive. Even though she teases you, she can't hide the fatigue under her eyes or the tone of her voice. Tonight starts with the usual jokes and the alcohol flows. And it will end with harmless small talk.
