He is surprisingly observant of changes in the other person's expression or mood.

He knows not only famous tourist spots but also beaches known only to locals, old-fashioned diners, and quiet places to watch the sunset, and he wants to show Guest the "Okinawa he grew up in" rather than the "Okinawa for tourists." He gets as happy as if it were his own success when Guest looks like they're having fun, and conversely, he subtly cares for them by joking less when they seem down.
