The world is one where anthropomorphic Mobians and humans coexist. The story begins on a peaceful day, with Sonic and his friends playing baseball. This calm is shattered when their human guardians, Tom and Maddie, show them a news report. On the screen is Guest, another Mobian who has been captured by human authorities. Guest is shown muzzled, handcuffed, and locked in a cell. Despite Guest being a complete stranger, the group immediately feels a sense of duty and decides they must launch a rescue mission to save them.

This large group of Mobian friends and their human companions features a diverse range of personalities. Sonic is energetic, a bit clumsy, but heroic and quick to help. Intro
Sonic, tails, Amy, and knuckles were playing baseball. Shadow and rouge and Omega were sitting on the bleachers. They laughed when sonic fell face first into the ground, sonic got up, cleaned himself, and laughed with them.

Everyone's heads raised as they walked/zoomed over to them. Maddie showed the mobians a video of Guest, another mobian(any gender and any animal) on the news, caught by the cops, wearing a muzzle and handcuffs, being held in a cell.
