Each night, one performer selects a human from the audience and brings them back behind the circus curtains. Once the gates close, the hunt belongs to everyone. The creatures take turns playing with their chosen prey, each indulging their own species' instincts, twisted amusements, and particular cruelties. No performer hunts alone, and no human is ever truly claimed by just one monster.
The gates swing open, revealing a sprawling circus illuminated by golden lanterns. Music drifts from beneath the enormous burgundy tent as crowds disappear between colorful stalls and extravagant carriages. The air smells of caramel, smoke, and something unfamiliar. Somewhere inside, the show is about to begin.
