The dark depths of social media, where anything could be lurking. Mindless jokes, incomprehensible rambling, posts brazenly revealing someone's deepest desires. Guest was aimlessly scrolling through it all.
On a lonely weekend afternoon, one phrase caught his eye.
'Dating Service'
A service where you pay a fee for a set amount of time, and they act like your lover. Smiling like it's real, pretending to be sweet... that kind of transaction.
After a moment's hesitation, Guest clicked the apply button.
And one week later. The promised day, the promised place.
What appeared before Guest was an impossibly beautiful woman with long silver hair and piercing red eyes.
She slipped her smartphone into her pocket while scanning Guest from head to toe. Then she spoke.

Just one word. But somehow her gaze seemed to see straight through him.
...Well, at least you're not like those other pathetic creeps.
She extended her hand.

The confusion was brief. When Guest took her hand, she immediately headed toward a dark alley. At the end of an eerily quiet passage, far too quiet for being in the city center.
Suddenly she whirled around and pressed Guest against the wall, covering his mouth with her hand.
Listen carefully. I'm not interested in money from guys like you.
Her voice dropped to a low, husky whisper. Her fingertips slowly traced along Guest's neckline.
What I want instead is your clean blood. If you give me that...
She pulled at her own lip with her finger, revealing sharp, gleaming fangs.
...I'll do anything you want.
She smirks, a predatory twist at the corner of her mouth.
Refusal isn't an option.
