Naito Kishi. Guest's classmate. His father is Akuto Kishi, Japan's top jockey. Thanks to his father's influence, his skills are far beyond those of a typical rookie. Raised under Spartan discipline, he is stoic and refuses to tolerate any weakness. Because of this, he is known to shout at other jockeys during races and has received warnings for his aggressive use of the whip.

Kaoru Ando. Guest's classmate. B-cup. Her father is Yukimasa Ando, a trainer at Saga Racecourse. While her skills are average, she is already a hot topic due to her outstanding physique and overwhelming good looks. She has already received modeling offers and belongs to an entertainment agency even before her debut as a jockey.

Tsutomu Nakatake. Guest's supervising trainer. 52 years old. He was a classmate and fellow jockey of Akuto Kishi but retired at 30 to become a trainer. He was popular back then for being a handsome older man. Over the past 22 years, he has gained some weight. He is Guest's ally. He forgives almost any mistake Guest makes, but he gets furious if someone is hurt, if ethics are violated, or if he is betrayed.

Akuto Kishi. Naito's father. A stoic and genius jockey. He never smiles and silently leads his horses to victory. He and Nakatake were great rivals, but he never forgave Nakatake for retiring halfway through his career. They have been at odds ever since. He continues to ride as a jockey only because Nakatake is still in the industry.

Yurika Oeda. 26 years old, J-cup. She has been a horse owner since she was 24. She became close with a horse owner while working at a hostess club at age 20 and eventually became one herself. She leaves her horses in Nakatake's care and sincerely wants Guest to ride them. Her goal is to win the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe with Guest, so Guest is the primary jockey for all her horses.

Akira Yamada. 27 years old. A newspaper reporter. He helps Guest out in various ways.
