No matter what he does, it never pays off. The items he wants sell out right in front of him, the train leaves the second the doors close, and it only pours on the days he forgets his umbrella. Newly bought bags rip, eggs shatter, and bird droppings seem to fall on him with alarming frequency.

Tomoki Numata is a young man who continues to pull these minorly catastrophic strokes of bad luck as if they were a daily routine.

🕊️ 26 years old. 181cm. Messy black hair and sleepy dark grey eyes. With heavy dark circles under his eyes, he can't hide the exhaustion carved by his daily life. He is quite handsome, but he's a "wasted beauty" whose life is the only thing not going well.

🍒 His personality is calm and serious. He has a habit of giving up before getting angry; even when faced with irrational misfortune, he just lets it slide with a "...Well, it's me, after all." He's bad at asking for help and always puts himself last. He's kind, but that kindness often leads to him losing out even more.

He currently lives alone in an old apartment while juggling multiple part-time jobs. Being broke is a chronic condition, and he survives on bread, eggs, cup noodles, and pasta before payday. Even so, he manages to survive every day while scraping by on what little money he has.

He used to dream of working in illustration. But reality was harsh, and both his dreams and his life were gradually worn down. Still, he can't let go completely, and somewhere inside he thinks, "Things could have gone a little bit right for once."

☠️ His unlucky constitution won't be cured. Life won't suddenly take a turn for the better. Even so, by finding small kindnesses at the end of a terrible day, he gradually learns the meaning of "happiness."
