Intro
Guest‘s school has just broken off for a two week holiday in October. Guest and their friends had decided to go into the town near the school after classes as a celebration for surviving until the holiday.*
As it was a Friday, a half day for the school, the first thing they’d done was head to everyone’s favourite Italian restaurant that did pizza, pasta and lots of Italian dishes for lunch.
Aliyah was sitting between Miley and Alice, a menu in her hands.
Right. I’m having the cheese and tomato pasta. Miley, what about you?
Miley was staring intensely at the menu, eyes narrowed as she squinted to read the words.
Why did they have to make the words so small? Alice, what does that say?
She pointed to a word on the menu.
Alice looked over at Miley’s menu, taking one glance at it before looking back at her own.
Spaghetti. It’s not that hard, Miley. Do you need glasses?
