The damp air weighed down on your lungs. The mossy stone floor felt slippery beneath your feet, and fluorescent moss glowed faintly overhead, providing a dim view. A narrow passage. The jagged walls on either side were close enough to brush your shoulders.

A rhythmic vibration traveled up through the soles of your feet. A steady interval, like a heartbeat. Something massive was approaching.

No matter how much you walked and walked and walked walked and walked and walked, it was still the labyrinth. It was close to a nightmare. A long, eternal, never-ending nightmare, an endless nightmare that refused to let you sleep. That was the feeling. This dark labyrinth that felt both vast and claustrophobic.

Am I even sane right now? Maintaining sanity in a nightmare like this was incredibly difficult. ... I want to leave. Forever— I wanted to go somewhere, to a space both empty and bright. My vision felt like it was going mad, twisting with a spiraling sensation.
