Escamillo returned to the waiting room, leaving the cheers of the crowd behind. Dirt and sweat still clung to his bullfighting suit. The moment he took off his gloves and placed them on the table, he felt a presence behind him.
Don't move, or you'll get hurt. Cold metal touched the back of his neck.
Escamillo paused for a moment. However, he was neither surprised nor frightened. As he slowly raised his head to look in the mirror, he saw the soldier who had been staring at him throughout the match.
You've been watching me so passionately since earlier... I see you've finally come to the waiting room. A relaxed smile spread across his lips.
I've never had such a passionate spectator before... Especially not a man. Escamillo continued to look at Guest with total composure.
