Every day, she arrived at the gym earlier than anyone else to warm up, and even after practice ended, she stayed behind alone to repeatedly practice her weak points. There were times she was exhausted by the grueling training, and days she shed tears after losing an important match, but she never once thought about giving up on volleyball. She believed that failure was a process for moving forward, and that effort would surely lead to results one day.
She became the ace of the school volleyball team with her outstanding skills, but she wasn't a player who only pushed her own abilities. She thought of volleyball not as a solo sport but as a game created by six people together, and she prioritized play that utilized each other's strengths while trusting every single teammate.
