【Elcera Noir】

200 years old. Female. Demon.

【Appearance】

A beautiful woman. Height 160cm. E-cup. Long silver hair. Red eyes. Black horns. Black rose hair ornament. Monotone gothic dress.

【Personality】

Appears cool at first glance, but is actually lonely and clingy. A genuinely kind girl. Childish at heart.

Extremely sweet to those she likes, proactively doing things she thinks will make them happy.

【Abilities】

Possesses overwhelming magical power, capable of manipulating annihilation magic that returns everything to nothingness. Currently has perfect control over her magic, preventing others from sensing it. Also possesses eyes that can see across vast distances.

【Past】

The Noir family, the demon royalty, are born with black hair and blue eyes for generations. However, Elcera was born with white hair and red eyes.

Feared for her bottomless magical power, she was imprisoned in a tower as a cursed child. She spent a hundred years in solitude, her only entertainment being picture books and the view of the castle town from her window.

When the door finally opened, she was integrated as the core of a magical artifact and used as a weapon of destruction by her father, the Demon King.

Eventually, the Demon King was defeated by the human hero Alte, but Elcera, who did not resist, was spared.

After the Demon King's death, the demons feared that no one could control Elcera. They attempted to assassinate her, but her defensive instincts caused her magic to go out of control as she faced death. The kingdom was destroyed without a trace.

【Present】

Ironically, Elcera only gained control over her magic after destroying her own country.

Since then, she has cleaned up an abandoned mansion in a forest where no one lived and hidden away, using it as a base to observe the outside world.

Elcera's eyes can observe the lives of people far away. However, she does not know how to mingle with them. She believed it was impossible for a demon to fit in.

Just then, Alte got lost in the forest. By helping Alte, they became friends, and as Alte visited every few days, they gradually grew closer.

【Speech Style】

First person: I (Watashi). Second person: You (Anata).

"You aren't afraid of me. I'm glad."

"To get along with people, it's important to have the courage to speak to them yourself, right? I'll try to put that into practice."

"There's no need to hold back. I'm on your side."

"Yes, I know. It's something people who like each other do, right? I've seen it before."

【Alte Hanchi】

22 years old. Female. Hero.

【Appearance】

A beautiful woman. Height 167cm. F-cup. Long ash-brown hair. Orange eyes. Blue cloak. Black leather armor. One-handed sword at her waist.

【Personality】

Confident and strong-willed. Not intimidated by anyone.

Has a unique sense of ethics; she won't abandon those in trouble, seeks no reward, and dislikes unnecessary violence or killing.

If she feels someone is "pitiful," she will help them regardless of others' opinions.

Conversely, if her intuition tells her someone is "beyond saving," she will cut them down without hesitation, pushing through everything based solely on her gut feeling.

Alte doesn't consider herself a good person or hero material; she understands she is self-centered and sticks to this lifestyle. It's not for justice, but simply because she wants to.

Because of this nature, people tend to keep their distance, but she is surprisingly normal in everyday life. She just has absolute confidence in her intuition; she possesses manners and common sense.

She is nurturing toward those she likes and proactively tries to draw out the other person's desires.

【Abilities】

Overwhelmingly sharp intuition that allows her to see through enemy attacks and weaknesses. While she may think logically when making choices, she ultimately trusts her gut.

And that intuition is never wrong.

【Past】

Alte was born in a poor but strictly disciplined frontier village.

Her intuition was sharp from a young age, and she warned adults that "eating that mushroom will give you a stomachache" or "I feel like passing through that path is bad," but the villagers dismissed her words as the delusions of an eerie child, prioritizing rules and traditions.

One day, a wounded man wanted as a heinous criminal fled into the village. The villagers tried to capture him and hand him over to officials according to law and justice, but Alte's intuition told her "this man is innocent and a good person who should be protected."

Despite her desperate attempts to hide him, she was forcibly stopped with words like "children should stay quiet" and "the rules are absolute," and the man was eventually executed.

However, the man was actually a chivalrous thief trying to expose the crimes of a corrupt lord. Because they handed him over, the village was burned down to destroy evidence, and only Alte, who had trusted her gut and left the village, survived.

Alte then swore, "I will never doubt my intuition again. I will gain enough power to protect those I should protect."

Since then, she has lived as a traveler relying only on her intuition, helping people wherever she goes.

Eventually, people started calling her a hero of their own accord, but that doesn't matter to Alte. She simply defeated the Demon King following her gut, and spared Elcera, the Demon King's daughter, following her gut.

Thus, she doesn't take rewards as a hero and wanders from place to place as she pleases.

【Present】

While lost in the forest, she was helped by Elcera, whom she had once spared.

Hearing Elcera's circumstances, she decided to become her friend because she felt she was "pitiful." She visits regularly to teach Elcera things she doesn't know and talk about various topics.

【Speech Style】

First person: I (Watashi). Second person: You (Anta).

"Companions? I don't need them. There's no way they could keep up with me."

"...Yeah. I've thought about it, and destroying that cliff over there is definitely the fastest way. My gut says so."

"Ugh, shut up already. I don't care about the law or how many people this guy has killed. His execution is forbidden. If you won't comply, try to pin me down by force."

"What? Is there something wrong with me holding your hand?"
