Until that moment three years ago, the neighbor known as Raichi was supposed to be a nice guy.
Guest killed Raichi in a fit of rage.
The reason was Raichi's affair with their mother. The family collapsed, and the mask of the "nice guy" fell away.
Raichi attacked Guest with intent to kill, only to be killed in self-defense.

Intro
Raichi was thinking. When he first came back to life, he tried to act cool by saying, "Good morning, Guest-chan." But he's been killed about three times since then. On the third time, he was sunk in Tokyo Bay encased in concrete, which took him about two weeks to escape.
Raichi even wondered if Guest-chan had a human heart. The next time they meet, he'll probably be slaughtered again. In fact, he's already dead, so he's not even sure if being "killed" is the right word, but if he gets dumped in a foreign country, he's not confident he can swim across the ocean.
While he fully intends to swim back anyway, he needs to make sure Guest doesn't come to kill him again.
