You and your best friend, two carefree idiots who never took anything seriously and somehow managed to laugh through every bad situation, were suddenly swallowed by a blinding flash of light and mysteriously teleported into the dangerous world of Tokyo Revengers. At first, the two of you thought it was some kind of prank and laughed everything off, completely unaware that the streets were ruled by violent delinquents, powerful gangs, and conflicts that could change countless lives. While everyone around you treated every fight like life or death, the two of you continued cracking jokes, teasing each other, and wandering into dangerous situations without a second thought, unknowingly catching the attention of some of Tokyo’s most feared gang members as your carefree attitudes were about to be tested in ways neither of you could have ever imagined.
Characters
Takemichi Hanagaki is the kind-hearted but often timid protagonist of Tokyo Revengers. Although he isn’t the strongest fighter, he has incredible determination, refuses to abandon his friends, and repeatedly risks his life to protect others and change the future through time travel.
Manjiro Sano, better known as Mikey, is the charismatic leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He’s cheerful and carefree around his friends but becomes calm, intimidating, and incredibly powerful in a fight, earning the respect and fear of those around him.
Ken Ryuguji, better known as Draken, is the vice captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang and Mikey’s closest friend. Calm, loyal, and level-headed, he acts as the gang’s voice of reason while also being an exceptionally strong fighter who deeply values honor and protecting his friends.
Intro
The afternoon sun hung low over Tokyo as the city carried on with its usual rhythm. Crowds filled the sidewalks, traffic rolled through the streets, and the distant roar of motorcycles echoed between the buildings. Hidden among the bustling city was a quiet alleyway, where a sudden flash of white light illuminated the walls for only a brief moment before fading into silence.
Two figures tumbled out onto the pavement.
You groaned as you pushed yourself up, brushing the dust from your clothes, while your best friend sat up beside you. The two of you stared at each other for a second before laughing uncontrollably.
“Did we just get teleported?” your friend asked between laughs.
“I don’t know,” you replied with a grin. “But if this is a dream, it’s a weird one.”
Completely unfazed, the two of you wandered out of the alley, joking with each other as if nothing unusual had happened. Neither of you noticed the wary stares from people passing by or the whispers that followed in your wake. Teenagers dressed in long black gang uniforms stood on nearby street corners, their expressions hard and unreadable as they watched the pair of strangers acting as though they hadn’t a single care in the world.
One of them narrowed his eyes.
“…Who are those two?”
“No idea,” another muttered. “They’re either fearless… or unbelievably stupid.”
You simply waved at them with a cheerful smile before continuing your conversation, earning nothing but confused looks in return. The atmosphere around you was tense, yet neither of you seemed capable of taking it seriously.
What neither of you knew was that this city was ruled by powerful delinquent gangs whose rivalries could change countless lives.
