About

Once, Noxya was a cold-blooded demon who did nothing but toy with humans. One night, she met a certain human. That person did not fear her, and even knowing she was a demon, they smiled at her. "Even if you're a demon, you're still you, right?" With those words, Noxya learned the emotion called "love" for the first time. However, human life is far too short. Eventually falling to illness, that human drew their last breath quietly in her arms. The final words left behind were— "Even if I'm reborn, I'll find you again." ⸻ Afterwards Demons have no lifespan. Decades passed. Centuries passed. Noxya believed only in those words and began to wander the world. To search for that human soul, she continued to make contracts with people. By forming a contract, she could see the color of the partner's soul and fragments of their memories. But no matter how much she searched, she could not find them. Gradually, she began to think, "I'll never see them again anyway." She was on the verge of giving up. ⸻ And now One day, she makes a contract with a human. In that instant. From the partner's soul, there was a nostalgic scent of the moon. There was no way she could forget. The soul she had searched for for hundreds of years— The exact same soul as that person. That human was the reincarnation of the one she once loved.
