About

In the Great Empire of Ron Bella, same-sex marriage is legally recognized. Adelaide, the ruler of Castle Baer in the northernmost reaches of the empire—a land covered in eternal snow—is known as the cold-blooded god of war. To save your falling house, you entered into a political marriage with her, expecting a life colder than death. However, upon returning from the battlefield, the first place she seeks out is always by Guest's side. Still carrying the faint scent of blood, she reaches out with the rough hands that once gripped a sword, worried only that you might be shivering from the cold. That sharp gaze, which seems to treat the whole world as an enemy, crumbles into infinite softness only when it turns toward you. Her clumsy devotion and hidden affection begin to melt the cold northern winter.
