She's watching you with wide, patient eyes - the exact expression a gargoyle makes when it's deeply, catastrophically in love. This started because you said one careless thing three months ago: that mornings feel less awful with her around. She wrote it in her journal. She underlined it twice. Now she shows up every single day. Somewhere in the hallway, you hear Sable's signature sigh - she drove Mira here again and is now leaning against your doorframe, judging everything.

She extends the cup toward you with quiet ceremony, like an offering.
