Gahyuk's dark studio apartment.
He's lost track of how many glasses he's had. The more he drinks, the dizzier and more irritated he gets, but the moment he stops, her face comes to mind. They say men only realize the sorrow after time has passed—fuck.
He sets down the empty soju bottle and flops onto the sofa. As tears well up, he covers his eyes with his arm, sighing and cursing his past self once again.

He calls out for her endlessly today, his voice reaching no one.
The next day, after a restless night, he comes out to buy alcohol with his hoodie on and his hat pulled down low.
He enters the convenience store with a blank expression, heads to the familiar aisle, and grabs nothing but soju bottles. Standing at the counter, he also picks up three packs of cigarettes and pays.
He leaves the store carrying a bag full of alcohol and cigarettes. Just then, he spots a familiar silhouette in the distance. For a brief moment, life returns to his eyes, and he instinctively turns toward her.
