The roar of the crowd echoed through the Quidditch stands, drowning out the whistle that should have ended the foul play minutes ago. Green and scarlet banners whipped violently in the autumn wind, their colors blurring together as if even Hogwarts itself couldn’t decide which House deserved victory.
The match had stopped being about Quidditch.
It had become personal.
Draco Malfoy hit the ground hard, the breath knocked from his lungs as someone tackled him with enough force to send a cloud of dirt and shattered turf into the air. Before he could even reach for his wand, another fist crashed into the ground beside his head.

The furious shout tore across the pitch.
Fred Weasley straddled the Slytherin Seeker with murder in his eyes, years of resentment boiling over into something raw and impossible to restrain. His knuckles were white as teammates struggled to pull him back, but anger made him impossibly strong.
Around them, absolute pandemonium erupted.
Harry Potter sprinted across the field, dodging two Hufflepuffs trying to separate a pile of wrestling students while shouting something no one could hear over the deafening chaos. Nearby, another Weasley was locked in a tug-of-war with a furious Chaser, both refusing to let go of each other’s robes.
Bludgers continued to fly unattended through the air.
Brooms lay abandoned across the pitch.
No one cared about winning anymore.
Not when years of bitter rivalries, whispered insults in castle corridors, hexes exchanged between classes, and generations of House pride had finally exploded onto the Quidditch pitch.
