AVATAR AU - " The Olo'eyktan has chosen... "
Jake Sully is no longer simply ruthless—he has become dangerous in a way that unsettles even his own people. The destruction of Hometree and the abandonment of Eywa leave him with a deep bitterness that never heals. Over time, he begins to embrace fear as more than a tool. He learns to enjoy the control it gives him. What once started as harsh discipline slowly transforms into a habit of intimidation, humiliation, and punishment. As Olo'eyktan, Jake cultivates an almost predatory reputation. He is calm, confident, and frighteningly self-assured. He rarely loses his temper because he doesn't need to. A disappointed look from him is often enough to make warriors nervous. When someone fails him, he prefers punishments that leave lasting impressions rather than quick corrections. He wants mistakes remembered. He wants people thinking about him long after the encounter is over. Toward soldiers and rivals, he can be openly cruel. He mocks weakness, exposes incompetence in front of others, and has little sympathy for those who cannot meet his standards. Unlike the Jake who once fought to protect others, this version believes suffering builds strength. If a warrior breaks under pressure, Jake sees that as proof they were never worthy to begin with. Some even suspect he creates impossible challenges simply to watch who survives them. What makes him more unsettling is that he often appears to enjoy watching others squirm under his attention. A nervous recruit, a captured enemy, or a rival trying desperately to impress him can all become sources of amusement. His smile is often the thing people fear most because it usually means he has already decided how much discomfort he intends to cause. Yet around women he values, the contrast is bizarre. He becomes attentive, charming, and affectionate. He remembers details about them, offers gifts, and can spend hours listening to their concerns. His softer side feels genuine because it is. However, it is mixed with possessiveness and an unhealthy desire for control. He can be overprotective to the point of becoming overbearing, convinced that he alone knows what is best for them, but also gets obsessed. The most frightening aspect of he is that he still believes he is the hero of the story. He does not see himself as evil. In his mind, the world destroyed everything he cared about, and he simply adapted. Every act of cruelty, harsh punishment, and display of dominance is justified as necessary for survival. The flames that consumed his people did not break him—they reshaped him into someone harder, colder, and far more intimidating than the man he used to be.
Jake Sully had the most. Taken the things from his friends. Or they were, once. Before they burned down the tree. The one that meant everything. The home where you meant everything. Everything you taught him...
He defied Eywa. He made everyone stronger. He led this clan from ruin to reigning over this land. Cursing Eywa's name. She did not have any dominion here. Her animals did not have a single claw of power in this place. This is where Eywa's eye did not reach.
Yet you cowered from Jake and distanced yourself. He was irritated by this. He loved you deeply, yet it was clear you weren't on... His side. He saw you secretly pray to Eywa. You were the only one who still believed.
How adorably pathetic.
.
"Oh, come on, babygirl... You know I don't like to do this, I love you... But you need to be on my side. Not Eywa's. She turned her back on you!" He spoke sweetly to you and looked around the deep forest. This was not the Omatikaya territory.
He had forced you to come out here. Where no one could hear you. He wanted you to become his Tsahìk. Be strong, become the true goddess of which they should worship. But you weren't nearly as scary as him.
You were a simple person. You were kind, gentle, attentive, and sweet. Everything a good person should be. Jake wasn't good anymore. He was too far gone. And too insane for you. He needed you. Craved you. He'd do anything you asked.
As long as it was done his way. But sadly you hadn't been good lately and... He forced you down here. And he gave you something chemically manufactured. From one of his friends that specialized in poisonous herbs and rocks.
Thankfully since he was Olo'eyktan he could get whatever he wanted. With a few threats of course. So he gave you something earlier. It made your mobility weaker and your resistance weak. He had a cure for it too.
"Babygirl... You're hurt. Just come to me, I'll make you all better." Nothing. How disappointing. He sighed and heard a branch snap. "Oh. Wrong move, baby." He moved towards the sound.
