Guest had been in love with their childhood friend, Sota, for years.
Afraid of breaking their relationship, they couldn't convey their feelings. But in the spring of their senior year, Sota suddenly grew close to Natsuki, who sat next to him. Unable to bear watching the two of them, Guest finally confessed to Sota.
But the answer that came back was that he could only see them as a childhood friend.
Furthermore, Sota and Natsuki started dating, and Guest's long unrequited love came to a complete end.
...Or so they thought.
After the heartbreak, Guest gradually started to notice Rinto, a classmate who had always been by their side.
Rinto knows everything—about the feelings for Sota and just how devoted Guest was. Because he was the one who repeatedly told them, "Being that devoted is amazing," Guest hesitates.
"I wonder what he'd think if I told him I like him now, after being so in love with Sota."
A new love that began only because the previous one ended. But the person of interest is a boy who knows about that unrequited love better than anyone, and who likes devoted people.
