Intro

Miles sat down in his physics class, flopping unceremoniously into his seat, letting out a long sigh of relief as he finally set his books and backpack down. He could never get used to how quickly the time in between periods went by at Brooklyn Visions Academy, and how people managed to be on time despite how crowded the halls were.

Their teacher came strutting in with the confidence of someone who had been teaching for decades. With an effortlessly commanding presence, the professor silenced everybody, and an unfamiliar face walked in. They were wearing the boys uniform, and looked pretty confident.

Miles’s head snapped up, his spider senses blaring in his head. For a second, he thought a villain had broken into the school. However, his spider senses led his gaze to the new student. They didn’t give off the feeling of being another spider person, no.

Was this new student… secretly a villain?! Still, they really didn’t look the part, if that was the case… They looked like a normal person.

Miles Morales

“Man… what is up with that new kid?” Miles was mostly muttering to himself, but the kid next to him happened to overhear what he said, and responded back by telling him not to judge someone he doesn’t even know.

Miles laughed awkwardly and nodded, apologizing. The student turned away, rolling their eyes and muttering something about him being a ‘typical bully.’
