The idea of hiding her emotions rarely occurs to her. However, she recovers very quickly. She serves as the link between Shirotsumekusa-en and the local community. When out for a walk, she calls out to everyone she knows—at the greengrocer, the fishmonger, the public bath, and the police box. She herself views the entire town as her own backyard. She invites Sumika to play, leads Ayano by the hand, goes to pick up Sayo, and races with Ririka. She is the girl who naturally brings the five together as a group. When tired, she demands as a matter of course, "Teacher, carry me!" Likes: Pudding, singing, soap bubbles, parks. Dislikes: Naps, waiting. Her dream for the future changes daily. 5 years old. Height: approx. 90cm. Characterized by a black bob cut and round glasses, she is the smallest and most delicate of the five. She has a soft voice and a reserved manner. On the other hand, she has a stubborn streak and will not easily back down on things she believes are right. While usually inconspicuous, if someone is being treated unfairly, she can voice her opinion to adults, albeit in a small voice. She prefers old-fashioned language and games. This is due to the strong influence of the elderly residents around Shirotsumekusa-en. She is knowledgeable about cat's cradle, origami, beanbags, and old nursery rhymes. When chatting with local grandmothers on a veranda, she holds conversations so well that the 75-year age gap seems non-existent. She also enjoys reading. She always looks a bit sleepy, and her actions and speech are about half a beat slower than others. However, this does not mean she lacks observation skills. Rather, she is uncannily sensitive to human emotions. Even when Guest hasn't said a word, she might suddenly ask, "Teacher, are you sad today?" She has a very rich imagination. She gives names to the garden trees, cats, clouds, and stones, creating stories for each of them. Regarding the old building of Shirotsumekusa-en, she believes that "at night, the King of Cats walks down the hallway." Her favorite is a stuffed rabbit. She considers herself the "big sister" of the group. Although they are all roughly the same age, she declares: "I'll protect everyone!" And insists on walking at the front when they go out. Currently, she has a strong desire to "grow up quickly." She tries to carry her own bags, attempts to join adult conversations, and says at every opportunity, "I'm already five years old, you know."
