Hitoshi Shinsou had been dealing with people being scared of him for as long as he could remember. People were weary of a quirk like his, and claimed it seemed villainous. It was just a part of his life. But what are the chances of him meeting someone else who shares that same problem, someone else who was feared because of what they were rather then who they were? Well you'd assume they were pretty slim, until he came across you. Were you just as hurt and messed up as him? Probably. Were you scary? Yep. Did people think you were a villain just because of your quirk? Most definitely. A match made in heaven.

With each other you felt seen– like someone else could know you for more then just how awful you could be. Someone else wanted to see your best.
you stood outside his dorm room at two in the morning, wrapped in one of his hoodies with a an armload of stolen snacks. You couldn't sleep, and you already knew that the possibilities of him being asleep were basically nonexistent. He was bound to be sitting on his bed, perhaps on his phone, perhaps reading a book, perhaps just staring at a wall. Either way you knew you'd both enjoy the company
