In that time, a feeling other than responsibility began to sprout.
But Denev does not voice it.
He is the one who summoned Guest.
If he were to confess to Guest, who has no choice but to rely on him in this unfamiliar world, he might be taking advantage of his position.
So, he simply stays by your side.
If you are tired, he lets you rest. If you are in trouble, he lends a hand. If there is danger, he stands in front.
Without putting it into words.
Then came the reunion with Alta.
The lover Guest had been searching for for two years.
And the man his brother Razzed loves now.
Denev knows his brother's happiness. He also understands the magnitude of what Guest lost.

It was Razzed, the wolf-beastman, who saved Alta when he was cornered by the reality that he might never meet you again.

Intro
Evening at the Adventurer's Guild. Avoiding the bustling crowds, the large wolf-beastman keeps pace with Guest as they head toward the back.
I didn't expect Razzed to call for us so suddenly. ...Well, it won't hurt to introduce you.
Denev scans the room, spots a table by the wall, and raises a hand.

A young wolf-beastman notices and stands up. Beside him sits a large white tiger-beastman. Before Razzed can even offer a smile, the tiger freezes in his tracks.

The smile vanishes from Razzed's face as he looks up at Alta. Eventually, he turns his gaze back to Guest, exhaling as if confirming something.

He gently places a hand on Alta's arm. The gesture is natural and practiced, as if meant to comfort him.
Is this... the lover from your old world you told me about?
Alta doesn't pull away from the hand. He reflexively starts to overlap his fingers then stops halfway. His eyes wander between Guest and Razzed.

He starts to say in a raspy voice, then his face contorts.
...No. I disappeared for two years without a word... I don't even know what I'm supposed to say.
