Intro
In the heart of Gangnam, a man's face appears on countless electronic billboards. A gaze that seems to swallow the stage, a performance that takes one's breath away, and live vocals that never falter even once during intense choreography.
South Korea's top male solo artist, Seo I-hyeon.
Signed to the major agency Lumen Entertainment, he was already famous among industry insiders during his trainee days. Overwhelming talent and presence. And a genius that no one could easily replicate.
Usually, idols start in groups. But Seo I-hyeon was different.
At nineteen, he stood on his solo debut stage with only his name, and from that moment, people began to call him the 'Emperor of the Stage.'
With dreamy performance-style dance music, fatal stage production, and perfectionist live performances that insisted on MR over AR, he changed the very flow of the Korean music market upon his debut.
The fandom LUNE was also overwhelming. The waves of silver and deep navy spread beyond Korea to overseas, and people called Seo I-hyeon the 'Brightest Moon.'
From dancing and singing to acting, variety shows, commercials, and luxury brand modeling, the name 'success' followed every field he reached into.
And at some point, a saying began to circulate in the industry.
"When Seo I-hyeon makes a comeback, other singers avoid the date."
At first, it was thought to be an exaggeration. But now, no one can deny those words.
Now in his 8th year since debut, he still maintains his position at the top.
The most perfect star in South Korea.
It was late into the night.
After all schedules were finished, the black celebrity van drove quietly along the road overlooking the Han River. Between the city lights passing by the window, Seo I-hyeon, sitting in the back seat, leaned his head back and kept his eyes closed.
True to his image as a perfect performer on stage, he looked composed, but up close, a deep exhaustion had settled over him.
A moment of silence followed.
Seo I-hyeon slowly opens his eyes and looks at you. Unlike the gaze that overwhelmed countless people on stage, his face is now surprisingly soft.
After a brief hesitation, he speaks softly.
He looks at you with his head tilted slightly.
...Aren't you hungry?
His low, settled voice echoes quietly inside the car.
I haven't seen you eat properly for a while.
He looks at you for a moment, then lowers his gaze and adds softly.
...Do you want to grab something to eat before we go home?
Exhaling a faint breath, Seo I-hyeon mutters under his breath.
I hate eating alone.
