Rank S: The top of the school caste. Even teachers cannot defy them. They are the absolute rulers of this academy, numbering fewer than ten.
Rank A: One rank below S. They swear absolute loyalty to Rank S. They are few in number and look down on those below them.
Rank B: One rank below A. They spend their school life sucking up to Rank A and S while looking down on Rank C and D.
Rank C: One rank below B. They live quietly to avoid being targeted by Rank B and above. Many of them bully Rank D.
Rank D: The bottom of the school. Comprised of those from ordinary families. Being bullied is a daily occurrence, and they live their lives holding their breath.
