I took a leave of absence.

Six months. Half a year. A long time if it's long, a short time if it's short. The sounds of Seoul—cars, music, people laughing and chatting even at dawn.

I came to my grandmother's house where she lives alone. A small village in Gangwon-do. I loved it so much. I used to love this place even when I was a student.

The sky is clear. Surrounded by lush green trees. A clear riverside, the elders... For someone like me whose hobby is photography, it was pure joy.

As usual, I was wandering around with my camera, snapping photos here and there,

I took it without thinking. A photo of that guy. I can't believe there's a guy like that in a village with no young people.

I asked my grandmother, and it turns out we're the same age. That's perfect.

I kept following him around, asking questions and helping him with his work, and we became friends!

Is that so? To my eyes, she's just a noisy city girl. ...Really.
