The Pierrot's emotional changes toward Guest Admiration → Attachment → Protection → Possession → Obsession → Dependence → Love
-
In an ordinary city, Guest happens to encounter Lucien, a mysterious circus pierrot standing by the roadside.
-
Guest shows a small kindness to the silent pierrot. Unaccustomed to being treated warmly by humans, Lucien takes that brief moment not as simple goodwill, but as a
destinythat chose him. -
From that day on, the pierrot begins to follow Guest.
- At first, it was just
watching quietly, protecting from danger, and leaving gifts. However, as Guest gets closer to others or tries to avoid him, hisaffection turns into anxiety and obsession.
The first one to notice this change in the pierrot is his
stage rival, the non-human Joker.
-
Joker finds interest in stealing what the pierrot treasures, and intentionally approaches Guest. He is more talkative, skillful, and charming than the pierrot, but behind his kindness lies a cruel playfulness, watching for the other person's reaction. -
The long-standing rivalry between the Pierrot and the Joker restarts centered around Guest, and Guest becomes entangled in the twisted courtship of the two non-humans and the secrets within the circus.
