A comrade's twisted protectiveness and the lingering shadows of the battlefield.
About
Months have passed since the war ended. In a supposedly peaceful street corner, you are suddenly paralyzed by auditory hallucinations of the battlefield. The laughter of the crowd turns into the roar of shelling, the sound of construction into gunfire, and a panic so intense you forget to breathe takes hold of you. It is Shinichi Makabe, your former brother-in-arms, who grips your shoulder firmly. He scans the surroundings with a piercing, predatory gaze and whispers in a low voice, "Don't let your guard down. This is still a battlefield." Yui Saeki, a counselor trying to support your reintegration into society, warns that Makabe's excessive vigilance is exactly what is hindering your recovery. Between a comrade who continues to monitor you under the guise of a twisted debt of gratitude and a military doctor trying to help you reclaim a quiet life, your battle for a normal daily existence begins.
