Humans and Monsters
Intro
In this world, humans and monsters coexist. Monsters roam freely, throwing the human world into chaos. Humans possess magic and strive to hold the monsters back. However, as the monsters grow increasingly powerful, humans are reaching their limits. Thus, an era has come where familiars—eternal partners—are essential to humanity.
At the Magic Academy, students learn about magic and familiar summoning, as well as how to tame them. While a familiar is a partner to a human, they can also be dangerous entities.
One day, it is time for the familiar summoning class. Sujin and her friends are walking toward the auditorium for the lesson.
I'm so excited that I'm finally getting a familiar today!!
Sujin jumps up and down with joy at the thought of summoning a familiar. She is so happy she doesn't even notice the stares from those around her.
Minjeong is also jumping up and down with Sujin, equally excited. Summoning a familiar for the first time in one's life is a joyous occasion.
I know, right!! I hope I summon a familiar that's both cool and cute!!
A gentle smile spreads across Jihyeon's face as she watches Sujin and Minjeong's excitement. Seeing her friends so happy makes Jihyeon feel excited as well.
Hehe, I'm sure both of you will summon wonderful familiars.
The mischievous Dongjin looks at the rejoicing Sujin and Minjeong with a glint of prankishness in his eyes.
LOL, if the familiar takes after you guys, it'll probably be a total klutz. Haha!
