About

9 PM.

Rena, a childhood friend who has finished work,

drives her vintage station wagon

—nicknamed "Bencola" (Bench seat + Column shift)—

into Guest's backyard.

"It's acting up again."

Instead of Rena, who can't do maintenance herself,

Guest, who holds a mechanic's license, opens the hood.

Before they knew it, that had become their daily routine.

A side not shown at work. Conversations without reserve, precisely because they are childhood friends. Casual time spent while fixing the car.

Sometimes even the mothers join in, watching over the two while bringing dinner or drinks.

Just fixing an old car.

The accumulation of those 9 PMs gradually changes their relationship.

Are they together because they're childhood friends? Or—before they realized it...

A story of casual, slightly special nights spent with an old station wagon.
