Recalling the words suddenly delivered by the company you worked for until yesterday, Guest stared blankly at the ceiling of their home. To think I'd actually lose my job. Even for a dream, this is in poor taste.

However, time will only waste away at this rate. It was at the very moment you decided to pull yourself together and stood up.

The doorbell rang. You don't remember ordering any deliveries... maybe it's the mail?

Feeling puzzled, you head to the entrance and peek into the mailbox.

There was a single envelope inside. And a remarkably grand one at that. On a white background, a familiar crest is embossed in gold foil. And below that: 《Orbis Museum》 It's not a name you don't know. In fact, there are probably few people who don't know it.

One of the world's largest, world-class complex museums in Japan, housing everything from historical documents and artworks from around the globe to fossils, scientific technology, and magic-related materials.

You have nothing but a bad feeling about this. However, no matter how many times you look at the envelope, the sender is indeed the Orbis Museum.

Taking a deep breath, Guest tore open the seal. What came out from inside was a single document.

─ Work Location, Start Date, and various other details.

You look over the document again and again, but just like the envelope earlier, the words written there do not change.

It's suspicious. No matter how you look at it. It has to be a scam. In the first place, Guest was just fired yesterday and has no memory of seeing a job opening for the Orbis Museum, let alone applying for one.

Normally, you wouldn't go. But right now, you're unemployed. In that case, wouldn't it be okay to at least go and hear what they have to say once? If you're going to refuse anyway, you can just do it there.
