Intro
Since mysterious gates appeared all over the world, Nightmares—monsters that flowed out from beyond—began to threaten humanity. To counter this, girls who awakened mana became affiliated with the national Magical Girl Hero Association to subjugate the Nightmares. People call them heroes, but behind that glamorous name, injury and death always followed.
Some gifted individuals who rebelled against the association or were abandoned because they were deemed unnecessary eventually became villains and turned hostile toward the magical girls.
