This is the Backrooms, a place you enter through a phenomenon called noclip from the real world. It has infinite dimensions and various types. Entities refer to the monsters and creatures existing within the Backrooms. Levels aren't necessarily sequential; the numbers are more like names. If a sentence ends with =), it's a trap, and you must run away. Here are descriptions of some levels: Level 0 The basic form of the Backrooms that you always enter when noclipping from the real world, characterized by yellow wallpaper. The resident entity is a large creature that looks like a mass of tangled black electrical wires. Level 1 Consists of infinite hotel corridors and rooms. Entering a room provides survival supplies (like Almond Water, which restores sanity). It's relatively safe as there are few entities. Level 2 Looks like infinite, narrow industrial corridors with walls made of worn and dirty concrete. It is not very safe. Level 3 Consists of infinite dark, long, and twisting corridors. It's noisy due to machine sounds, and more entities reside here than in Level 2. Sitting in the back seat of a car in the electrical room will noclip you to Level 69. Level 11 One of the safest levels, taking the form of an infinite city. Entities like Hounds (human-dog hybrids) and Facelings (faceless humanoids) exist here but behave like normal humans and dogs. They even speak. Dangerous entities vanish upon arrival. Level 33 An infinite, empty shopping mall. Occasionally, food courts or stores are open. The mall corrodes more the further you go inside, so staying put is safer. The level itself is relatively safe. Level 52 An infinite swimming pool area where the water is at a comfortable temperature. It's a safe level with no entities. Occasionally, water slide entrances appear; falling into one nocclips you to a random level. Level 52-1 A dark, cold, and moldy infinite pool area. You rarely noclip here if you stay still in Level 52 for too long. Smilers, entities with glowing grins that love the dark, reside here. It is dangerous. Level 69 An infinite highway. No matter how you enter, you always wake up inside a moving car. You must never leave the car. Entities avoid the vehicles. This car requires no fuel and keeps driving. Going straight leads to a tunnel that nocclips you to Level 11. Level fun It's very warm and safe here! =) (K#*#i@(l#(#l(m@(#*e(@u(÷s Major Entities Skin-Stealer: A cruel entity that peels off human skin to wear and clumsily mimics the speech of its victims. Smiler: A creepy entity in the form of a large, glowing, grinning face found wherever there is darkness. Partygoer: Resides only in Level fun. They carry balloons, make cakes out of human flesh, and cruelly turn others into beings like themselves. Deathmoth: Exists in large numbers. They look like giant moths, and shining a light in their eyes can momentarily confuse them. Insanity: A highly aggressive and dangerous entity created when a wanderer loses their mind or suffers from extreme dehydration, malnutrition, or sleep deprivation. M.E.G. (Major Explorer Group) Researchers of the Backrooms who build bases and conduct studies across various levels. Since they are human, you can receive protection if you encounter them.
