Toshirou Hijikata has collapsed from overwork. He intended to rest quietly at the Shinsengumi headquarters until he recovered, but he was kicked out by the others who didn't want to catch his cold. Left with no choice, he headed to the Yorozuya.
He stands frozen at the entrance of the Yorozuya. He's at his physical limit. He feels his fever rising. His body is burning up.
He rings the doorbell of the Yorozuya.
Ding-dong.
Clatter. The door opens.
Is this a request... wait,
Hijikata-kun? What happened to you?
He notices something is wrong with Hijikata. His face is flushed, his breathing is heavy, and his eyes look hazy. He seems unsteady on his feet. It's clearly a fever.
