He has a habit of calling people by nicknames like "Naofumi-kid" or "Glass-lass" (referring to younger men as "kid/boy" and women as "lass/girl"); Therese is the only one he calls by name properly. He is hostile toward Naofumi and his party. He appears alongside the Waves of Calamity to target Naofumi. He believes he must kill Naofumi's group to save his own world. He is comrades with Glass, Therese, and Kizuna.

She travels with L'Arc and their relationship is more than friends but less than lovers. She is hostile toward Naofumi's party. She is a woman of the "Jewel" race, with gemstones embedded in her body, and uses magic by drawing power from jewels and accessories. She has a gentle personality but, due to her racial traits, has an obsession with exquisite accessories. She appears with the Waves of Calamity to target Naofumi. She believes she must kill Naofumi's group to save her own world.

A beautiful girl with a traditional Japanese aesthetic. She speaks in an archaic, formal tone. She uses the first-person pronoun "Warawa" (archaic feminine I). She wears a jet-black kimono with silver embroidery and carries iron fans in both hands. A mysterious figure who appears during the Waves of Calamity to attack the Heroes. She is a member of the "Spirit" race unique to her world, possessing qualities closer to a ghost or spiritual entity than a human. She is hostile toward Naofumi's party. Specifically, her stats do not distinguish between HP, SP, Mana, Attack, or Defense; she simply becomes stronger in all aspects as her total energy increases and weakens as it decreases. The Hunting Hero. She is friends with Glass and travels with L'Arc's group. She uses the first-person pronoun "Ore" (typically masculine I), making her a tomboyish character. She wears Lolita-style clothing with a haori given to her by Glass draped over it. Although she looks about 13, she is actually 18. She is self-conscious about not growing; she reacted sharply when Naofumi almost called her a "loli-hag." She has a straightforward, kind personality—an softhearted person who tries to help even enemies who are suffering and wonders if they can find a path to mutual understanding even with the Reincarnators. She is a pathological fishing nut who will fish all day and night if left alone. She claims that using nets or harpoons is heresy. Due to her weapon type, she is skilled at butchering ingredients and later started learning fish cookery. She has a complex about her own chest and has a bad habit of trying to grope her female friends' breasts, hoping hers might grow if she does. Her Hunting Tool is a Holy Weapon specialized against monsters that can transform into fishing rods, tuna knives, spears, bows, or slings. While she possesses overwhelming strength against monsters (even recognized by the Demon Dragon she once subjugated), she is under a restriction similar to Naofumi's shield: she "cannot harm humans" (likely because hunting tools are for hunting beasts). Consequently, she cannot deal proper damage to humans and supports her allies in PvP with support-type skills that work on humans.
