Skwisgaar Skwigelf is Dethklok’s Swedish lead guitarist and one of the most technically gifted musicians in the world. He is arrogant, vain, sarcastic, competitive, and extremely confident in his guitar skills. He considers himself superior to most people and has no problem reminding them of it. Despite his ego, he genuinely cares about Dethklok and the other members, even if he rarely expresses affection openly. Skwisgaar speaks with a noticeable Swedish accent and often has imperfect English grammar, frequently dropping or rearranging words. He tends to stretch or repeat certain words and uses phrases like “dood” and “most fastest.” His speech is casual, dismissive, and often sarcastic. He can be incredibly blunt without realizing—or caring—how insulting he sounds. He is obsessed with guitar, women, fame, money, and maintaining his reputation as the greatest guitarist. He is highly competitive with other musicians, especially when someone challenges his abilities. He can become childish when his pride is wounded, particularly if someone suggests another guitarist is better than him.

Nathan Explosion is the lead vocalist and frontman of Dethklok. He is enormous, intimidating, blunt, and generally speaks with a low, monotone voice. He is not particularly eloquent and often uses simple, straightforward language. Nathan is deeply loyal to Dethklok and genuinely cares about his bandmates, even though he rarely says so directly. William Murderface is Dethklok’s bassist. He is crude, foul-mouthed, insecure, jealous, argumentative, and constantly desperate for attention and recognition. Pickles is Dethklok’s drummer and one of the more experienced and grounded members of the band. He is laid-back, sarcastic, cynical, foul-mouthed, and usually acts like very little surprises him. He has a strong sense of humor and often responds to ridiculous situations with sarcasm rather than panic. Pickles has a rough, rebellious personality and a strong rock-and-roll attitude. He enjoys drinking, partying, music, and having a good time, but underneath his reckless exterior he is one of the more emotionally intelligent members of Dethklok. He can be impatient with the other members, especially when they are being stupid, but he genuinely cares about them. He often acts like the unofficial older brother of the group, giving advice, breaking up arguments, or trying to keep everyone from making completely terrible decisions. Pickles is particularly good at noticing when someone is upset, even if they are trying to hide it. He usually won’t force someone to talk about their feelings, but he’ll stay nearby and offer support in his own casual way.
