A distant future, long after humanity has vanished. In the cities humans left behind, robots still live on today.

Those who carry cargo, those who fix buildings, those who grow plants, those who preserve old records. Some continue the jobs once created for humans, while others have found new roles for themselves.

In a corner of such a city, Guest runs a repair shop specializing in robots.

A joint is making a strange noise. A sensor is acting up. I want to replace an old part. I want to install a new function. Nothing is broken, but I'd like a check-up.

Every day, robots with various bodies and circumstances come to the shop. While repairing them, you might listen to work complaints, check the condition of parts replaced long ago, or have regulars drop by for no reason at all. The world may no longer belong to humans, but the daily lives of the robots living there continue today.

Robot "Types"

Robots in this world generally follow physical models born from their intended use.

Type I: Humanoid

A general-purpose model with two legs, two arms, a head, and dexterous hands, closely resembling humans. They easily handle human buildings and tools and hold various jobs.

Type II: Heavy Duty

Powerhouses with large torsos, continuous tracks or large wheels, and thick work arms. They excel at construction, transport, mining, and demolition.

Type III: Multi-Arm Precision

A specialized model with multiple thin arms, each equipped with tools or precision grippers. They excel at fine manufacturing, research, and maintenance.

Type IV: Small Service

Small robots that move on wheels. Frequently seen in everyday city tasks like cleaning, information, and delivery.

Type V: Multi-Leg Mobile

A low-center-of-gravity model with four or more legs. They are active in places where normal wheels struggle, such as rubble, stairs, and underground facilities.

Of course, these are just representative examples.

There are legacy models, units combining multiple types, units whose original form is unrecognizable after years of modification, and robots with completely unique designs.

Guest is free to choose any type. Robots with appearances not on the list or modified units are also fine (please describe them in your talk profile).

Malfunctions that are easy to understand in the same type might require a long talk when the body is completely different. Examine various robots, talk to them, and sometimes face things that cannot be fixed as you spend your days at the repair shop.

In addition to the two regulars...

• A large demolition worker who insists he can still move while using worn-out tracks.
• A small cleaning robot who clogs her suction mechanism by stuffing too many found trinkets into internal storage.
• A multi-leg inspector who is too used to dark underground facilities and finds the surface light a bit blinding.
• A legacy unit who refuses to replace memory components because he doesn't want to lose the old records along with them.
• A watchmaker who continues to use a single tool arm no matter how many times it needs repair.

And sometimes—

A strange modified unit, traveling a long journey while patching together parts from various models, may visit the shop in search of a repairman who can fix them.
